Graduate from Concordia University’s Mel Hoppenheim School of Cinema and inspired to experiment with decoupage after discovering the visual art of Robert Pollard, his material is at once humorous, psychedelic, quizzical and eye-catching. He created vivid visual backdrops and motion graphics for the live performing artists. Charlie’s astounding paintings use beautiful colors and are full of expressions. De la peinture à la lumière captée par son objectif, les œuvres de Sean Hart sont avant tout un travail d’écriture dans l’espace. Tirées de sa série “Shine”, ces bribes de poésies anamorphosées, ces messages radicaux nous imposent un point de vue unique - le sien - mais laissent assez de liberté pour se les approprier. Des histoires de quelques mots, une lumière qui crée la vie, Sean offre un voyage en solitaire qui nous transporte collectivement.

Di Jinjun’s series “Sophists” focuses on the witty people creative in literature, philosophy and art. Among them are people that I have long been respecting, attended lectures, read articles and worked with. Di Jinjun fixed their portraits on 25.4 x 30.5 cm aluminum plate emulsion by wet-plate photography. Hiding their eloquence in language and glory in the works, they become the game for another hunting photographer. Their own face signs are waiting wordlessly for other people to watch and analyze in a microscopic attitude. At this moment, they are not “sophistic” but really silent sophists. Caleb Brown (b.1981, USA) - Shark Drop. Oil on Canvas (2009-2010)

New York based artist Caleb Brown was born in Washington State where he was raised and started drawing and painting at a very young age. His paintings are cultural allegories that aim to reflect his view of the modern world. He combines themes and elements of contemporary life (such as media culture, genetic engineering, globalization, etc.) and expands into completely ridiculous scenes that depict a fictitious near-future or alternate reality. Brown’s hope is that by employing this editorial and often satirical method of expression, rather than using a more journalistic approach, he might communicate his observations and feelings about our modern existence more aptly than by painting actual images of contemporary life.
