What is your opinion on graffiti as an art?

Is graffiti art or vandalism?
Do you appreciate it, are indifferent or find it unpleasant?

  1. patheticute answered: it’s an art. we can express our feelings through graffiti. but, itcan be a vandalism. it depends on how, what, and where we draw it. :)

  27. candibest answered: it depends on the type of graffiti if its done as a statement like banksy’s work then yes it is art but if its meaningles scribbles then no.

  30. artcastatx answered: I believe it depends alot on purpose and also talent. But ART is hard to define. Personally, a simple “tag” is vandalism but a “bomb” is ARt.

  43. pinzelmeister answered: I am in Athens right now. There is a LOT of graffiti here, and like any “art” the quality varies widely.
  44. donkinator answered: if someone rights “I copulated with your mom last night” on a wall, that’s vandalism. pseudo murals however, I feel are not.
